We are an inclusive school here at Austin School. We welcome students with a wide range of abilities. We do acknowledge that pupils need to demonstrate intellectual ability and independence that will allow them to meet the rigours of life at Austin School.
As parents we must make numerous important decisions for our children. Perhaps the most important decision is what school we send our children to. At Austin School we recognise this, and we also recognise that you are entrusting your child’s future with us.

Age Guidelines for Entry To Academic Years 2022-2023 & 2023–2024

Children are placed in an appropriate year group after a joint discussion between the school and parents. A child’s date of birth will be the most important consideration when selecting an appropriate age group at our school.

You may apply up to two years in advance of your desired entry year.
